Oh wow. It's so beautiful! This is your home?

I guess its what we really consider our home, our 'happy place' if you will :3, that really reveals who we are.

Now I'm tempted to play copycat and do my own version...

On the topic of painting work - you're getting even better! 0_0 Detail, my gosh, detail. You're so incredible at it. It's the little things that you don't notice in real life that you notice on this, and make it so very realistic. The ripples (maybe not the right word) in the skirt, the stippling on the clouds, the way the glass is shaded and lighter at the cracks.

This is the kind of stuff that I love to see in your gallery.

It's Rhynnell, the world I come from.

Go ahead and make your own; I would be honored. ^^

This is so richly rendered. There's a sort of wild, untamed feel to the painting.

How long did this take you? It looks like it took forever.

I'd say... 60-70+ hours? I worked on it from the beginning of the year until the end of October, two school days solid a week. :]

wow, awsome amount of detail. I like this one because you didn't revert to your usual style of outlining things, it looks like you sort of put yourself out on a limb style wise, which is really cool to see. Usually your painting (especially the real life paintings i've noticed this) you really go for flat colour but in this you can really see your brush marks which is totally different, it gives the painting that much more texture and...sorta reality.

I really think the combination of man made materials and organic ones is really cool, it's like nature's taking back it's own. The far wall and glass ceailing are absolutely beautiful. Like holy crap man, detail much?!

what IceHandTitan was saying before about creating their own version is an interesting concept, i mean, there's our house but then there's the place we belong, and alot of times (especially when you're in the angst faze) it's difficult to know what that place is. Alot of people don't know where they belong, you're lucky you do.

anyhoo...i am now very, very...tired.

Without that final puzzle piece, this would be just another nicely rendered scene. That final touch is exactly what makes this work perfect. You always know exactly what to do to make things your own :heart: The sky and glass has got to be my favorite part :'D Glass is always such a pain in the butt to paint. I like that you have a loose hand here. You include many details, but they don't look tediously done. It shows you are confident with your strokes and aren't trying to overwork things completely. ITS CASUAL. Thats what Im trying to say. Casual. Very relaxed.

Im so damn redundant. Im sorry xD;

And I especially like that we are seeing them from behind branches. We are not meant to be there; this is not our world.

Its really a beautiful painting :love: You've really done an amazing job on it :heart:

Wow. O_O That takes so much patience. It's that kind of project that drives you crazy, but always is worth it in the end. :nod:
