Oh... oh wow. 0_0 That's amazing! Stunningly done. Tritium... what's happened to him? And is Ray there to help? The background is stunningly done, and the detail is gorgious as usual. Nothing less than I could expect by you, Gwen. Great job... simply great job...
The story that goes through my head when I listen to the song actually has little to do with my characters aside from the fact that they're in it. Tritium looks like that because of the disease he has, the one I read about in Writer's Workshop that one time. He loses his hair, goes blind, and loses his voice. The story of the song has people like Tritium working with the military [Ray] to create a safer way for soldiers to attack the city in the background. Tritium and the people like him stay below ground in the base, whereas the commander-type people like Ray are above ground giving orders. :]
Oh, and since you read my writing, the city they're laying seige to is Sepia City in the future, I think.
Ooookay... XD Thanks for explaining. Aww... man... blind and unable to speak? Can he still hear, or is he only cut off one way from the world? Able to have the world see him, and able to hear it, but unable to respond in either way?
Commander Ray... (I can't help it. I think he's really good looking, even if this is just a painting... -_-. I'm so hopeless)
Oh! And for my story, can you give me a general overview of his personality? I have a good idea, but I don't want to be inaccurate >_<.
He can hear, yes. And he's blind in a bit of a weird way. He sees only white, and some shades of grey when he shuts his eyes. Black if he shuts them hard enough. It's kind of the effect of staring into a really, really white-hot bright light.
Heh, he's not really a commander in my story, though he very well could be. He's more of like a... hm.. he's kind of like the Pope; the Goddes' representation in the physical world. It wasn't by choice though, it was more of a 'sorry for screwing up your life so badly' position from the Goddes. x.X They made a big boo-boo.
Personality... Well, on the outside, he can come off as a pompous ass who thinks the world of himself. He can be stuck up, snobbish, and rather cold, but it's almost all a front. He's scared and upset about what's happened to his brother [and Gwen, since uh, I am Tritium on the mental level; he was just plunked into this body since he was more female anyways (Tritium is genderless because of his disease, but he acts as though he's a male to avoid problems)], and fiercly protective of him to the point where he gets himself into trouble with fighting. He doesn't have many close friends, being more of a loner by nature, but if someone gets past his walls of steel, he does his best to be as caring and compassionate as he can.
He has a fierce temper and can lose his icy cool in seconds if someone threatens or insults something important to him, but he's so secretive about what's truly important that very few people actually know how to detonate him. As he gets older and is no longer faced with the problems of his youth, he loses some of his rashness, and becomes more reserved and stable.
Um, what else...
Ah, although the Goddes messed up his life pretty badly, he had know idea of their actions until later on in his life. Before then, he was highly religious and devout, thinking to find his salvation in the Goddes. After he learned, he still remains much the same as before, but has learned to trust his own ability to think and reason on a higher level.
His element is electricity, if that's any use to you. He's sometimes able to read the electrical patterns in Tritium's brain [since they're quite similar to his own due to their closeness] to be able to tell when his 'little' sibling is feeling a particularily strong emotion. He can't read other people at all, since most people form quite different pathways in their brains. Oh, and after Tritium was taken from him, he found out how to detach his mental form from his physical, in essence killing himself, but keeping his body in a sort of 'suspended animation' state. He used that ability to get into the situation in the Perpetuity of Sin [/sidenote], but probably would have ended up dead if the Goddes hadn't reattached him.
Anything else you need to know, feel free to ask. I know this boy well. x3
Oh, uh, and he's quite smart, he just didn't do so great acedemically because of the huge factor Tritium's illness had on his ability to cope [he didn't do horribly; just could have done better]. In a situation where he wasn't faced with that, he would have done very well.
More than what meets the eye to this guy! XD (throws away all character plans for Ray) Bah, forget my thoughts on him. I was gonna make him my mature, but happy-go-lucky leader of the Five. Go figure. XD Now I have to make Oren like him. Darn it. Aw well, this Ray is more interesting. And more fun to play around with. Kukukukuku...
Well, everyone has something that they deal with at some point in life that throws them completely off their wall, but the length of time they deal with it is different for each person, I guess.
On a more comical note, I was suddenly reminded of a shirt I saw someone wearing the other day. It said 'I was born intelligent, but education ruined me' XD
