Artist's Comments

Arrensorre, the Ruling Godde of Qweth, the mental plane of VaothiA. Seen with his eyes as though rolled back in his head; eternally looking inwards.

Blah blah, like you give a shit.

Pencil crayon and nonrepresentational shading.

you have the most interesting characters.

O_O those eyes~

...pencil crayon? D: the coloring is AMAZAZING
:iconnegative-eight:
That seriously puts anything I've ever done or seen done with a crayon to shame.

The colours and how you drew the stained-glass sort of background and globe is really interesting. I love how his hair is like whoosh! and how you coloured his face. I need to learn how to colour traditionally. :I

Your work is always so incredible. Wow... coloured pencils... 0_0... like negative-eight said - this puts all my all my pencil crayon work to shame.

I do give a darn. Trust me. I love to read the character's profiles/backgrounds. I miss that in your descriptions.

you put so much work into this. it makes me sad that I can't work with pencil crayons very well. The colours in this are just beautiful!

There's a sort of glowing look to the fabric of his robe that's really captivating. And the concept of always looking inward... that's like what we've been discussing in lit. class. Many characters in poetry have to face both an outer and inner landscape. The way you've protrayed this is quite clever. "W"

The saint wishes to offer himself up as spiritual food for the multitude. Even Francis of Assisi turns himself into a sort of angel-cake, of which anyone may take a slice.

Okay I know those aren't hair plugs comming out of his forehead. Please explain. Or maybe they are. In that case, explain anyway +)
I do like the effect of his robe... you used such a bright warm blue for the parts that would be darkest, and managed to make it work really well with the rest of the image :) I really like that part D: His eyes are hella cool, and the concept itself is very interesting.
Is that a halo behind him? Thats actually one of the first things I noticed cause I remember you usually drawing halos in a different style. You're going back to your rooooooooottsssss! Or something.
Either way, I really like the imagery in this. Your work is always very iconographic and really shows you put a lot of thought into each piece
